The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in CDMO partnerships, out-licensing, and global B2B sales, and will be responsible for driving portfolio expansion, entering new geographies, and negotiating strategic commercial agreements. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a motivated professional capable of working independently and contributing strategically to global growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities:A. Out-Licensing & B2B Commercial StrategyLead out-licensing and B2B partnerships for FDFs across multiple geographies, motivated to open new geographies and explore different go to market models.Identify and evaluate new opportunities, build GTM models, and establish partnerships with customers, distributors, and CDMOs.Drive revenue generation through strategic deal-making, contract negotiation, and portfolio monetization.Prepare robust business cases and financial forecasts to support decision-making.Analyze competitive landscapes and develop pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics.Maintain strong relationships with partners and monitor commercial performance of launched products.B. Portfolio & Product Lifecycle ManagementContribute to global portfolio selection and prioritization based on market needs, IP landscape, and regulatory feasibility.Collaborate with R&D, IP, RA, and Project Management teams to ensure timely filings and execution of commercial plans.Manage end-to-end product launch activities, including regulatory submissions, supply chain coordination, and GTM execution.Provide input into global pipeline planning based on regional demand and white space analysis.C. Contract Management & Operational ExecutionLead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and licensing agreements.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies in all business dealings.Drive cross-functional alignment with internal teams including legal, supply chain, QA, RA, and finance to ensure seamless execution.Qualifications & Experience:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (required).MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or Strategy (preferred).Experience:10–15 years of experience in business development, out-licensing, or B2B sales within the formulations (FDF) segment.Proven experience in navigating CDMO engagements, contract negotiations, and global market expansions.Strong exposure to regulatory environments, IP considerations, and global product lifecycle management.Key Skills & Competencies:Deep understanding of the formulation’s portfolio, global product pipeline, IP landscape, and regulatory frameworks.Proven ability to independently open new geographies and explores innovative GTM strategies.Expertise in market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and pricing strategy development.Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and execution.Strong forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic business case development skills.Excellent project management capabilities, experience in tech transfer is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.Fluent in English; additional languages and cultural adaptability are a plus.
