About TechOps: The newly formed Technology Operations (TechOps) team is bridging the interface between our international customer organization for Koerber pharmaceutical software and the internal product support, business solutions, product infrastructure and deployment operations teams. It acts as a one stop shop for 2nd Level Support and Escalation management team to ensure our customers receive best in class support and responses. The TechOps vision is to ensure 24/7 operations of our PAS X-MES products and support in the SaaS and OnPrem environment. Job Summary: The Senior CloudOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a 24/7 operations, optimization and maintenance of our Azure and AWS business critical customer environments as well as providing L2/L3 technical support and escalation management. The role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues to help identify the shortest path resolution. The Senior CloudOps Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NOC Operations, Technical Product Operations, Business Application Management and Deployment Operations. Join the home for entrepreneurs! Your role in our team: Participate, drive and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Manage and maintain cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud) to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations, using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, conduct regular reviews, and optimize resources for cost and performance efficiency. Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements, implementing best practices for data protection and access control. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, including system outages and performance bottlenecks. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate and optimize cloud-based solutions and workflows. Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, procedures, and policies in English language. Own, drive and scale daily routines Assist in the design and automation of CloudOps Numerate with high attention to detail Excellent business priority understanding to manage escalations and priorities Mastered team collaboration in a global organization to deliver best in class operations Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in cloud operations, system administration, or a related role. Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Preferring Female Candidates Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, and load balancing. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid Experience in Linux, Network Topologies, Firewalls etc. Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills in English language. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
