Job Description

We’re looking for a sharp, systems-minded content leader who can own the entire content function for websites, long-form writing, and editorial content strategies for brands – from the big idea to the final comma. If you think like a storyteller, write like a strategist, and build like a UX architect, this role is for you. You’ll set the direction, define the quality benchmark, lead a team, and bring together brand voice, content design, AI tools, and SEO into one seamless system. Key Responsibility Areas Strategy & Direction Set the content vision for websites – blending brand storytelling, SEO, user needs, and business goals. Translate abstract brand narratives into clear web journeys and strong messaging hierarchies. Bring a systems-thinking mindset to how content is structured, produced, and scaled. UX & Structure Work with UX, design, and dev teams to build content-led wireframes, information architecture, and sitemaps. Create content matrices that guide how each page or module is written and structured. Think modular – plan content to work flexibly across CMS tools and future updates. Writing & Editing Lead the tone of voice: define it, document it, and ensure it’s applied consistently. Write or guide writing for high-impact pages – home, about, product, landing, etc. Set up clear editorial workflows to ensure zero-error, high-quality content. SEO & Performance Build and lead a strong SEO content strategy using tools like SEMrush, Hotjar, Search Console, etc. Track performance, iterate content, and ensure our site drives results. AI, Tools & Efficiency Bring AI tools into the content workflow – for ideation, versioning, QA, and audits. Help the team get faster and sharper without losing human touch. Team Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and manage a team of writers. Work cross-functionally with design, tech, servicing, and strategy teams. Build decks, lead presentations, and sell through your vision internally and externally. Conduct continuous performance reviews of direct reportees. Skills 8–12 years of experience in digital content, with 3+ years leading website projects end-to-end. A strong portfolio of site revamps, product pages, brand storytelling, or UX content work. Deep comfort with tools like Figma, Notion, WordPress, SEMrush, and generative AI platforms. Strong presentation and deck-making skills – you should be able to tell a story in slides. A love for structure and strategy, not just writing. Qualifications B.A. in Creative Writing, Communication Arts, or equivalent Must possess at least eight + years of experience (non-technical) for an ad agency or web development firm and have managed multiple teams What You Can Expect From Interactive Avenues Interactive Avenues’ vision is to make advertising more insightful for brands.
