This Indian company will be the Lexitas Global Capability Center, helping build a world class IT development team, and over time serve as a Shared Services hub for several of the corporate functions. For More Information - This is a Full-Time Job located in Chennai, India. Key Roles and Responsibilities : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end web-based solutions. Write clean, secure, and scalable PHP code within the Laravel framework. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations. Develop responsive and dynamic front-end applications using Angular. Participate in peer code reviews, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure quality deliverables. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across both front-end and back-end components. Contribute to architectural decisions, including modular design, microservices adoption, and code reusability. Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support project planning efforts. Work closely with the DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot deployment issues. Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project discussions. Skills: 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel. 3+ years of hands-on experience with front-end frameworks using Angular Deep understanding of MVC, REST API design, and modern web application architecture. Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript fundamentals. 5+ years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL/MS SQL/Postgres SQL). 3+ years of experience in designing and architecting complex software systems. Experience with third-party API integrations, authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT), and role-based access control. Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and deployment practices. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP – AWS preferred). Proficiency in Git, automated testing, and performance optimization. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Practical experience working in Agile development (scrum) with exposure to JIRA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across global teams. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a Masters preferred. 8+ years of proven experience Experience mentoring junior developers or leading a small development team is a plus.
