We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager with a passion for leading and empowering high-performing engineering teams. You will be responsible for a team that delivers engineering drawings for the design and construction of electrical heat trace and for the design and construction of electrical process heaters which are used in industrial facilities. In this role, you will make an impact in our company as follows: Lead strategy and product line performance, managing a direct and indirect 80+ engineers in our Mumbai, India location. You will be based onsite out of our Mumbai location. Oversee the production of engineering deliverables, ensuring timely, high-quality, and technically accurate outputs. Champion quality, maintaining rigorous standards across all engineering drawings and documentation. Recruit, onboard, and oversee training of new team members to build a strong, cohesive team. Focus on retention and development, creating an environment where engineers thrive and grow. Relate to engineering team members with understanding of their technical work, tools, and challenges. Collaborate with EPC partners and global engineering offices, ensuring alignment and smooth execution across projects. Knowledge & Qualifications Education & Languages: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field). Bilingual in English and Hindi Leadership Experience Engineering leadership experience with international customers and stakeholders in both India and the Western Hemisphere. 10+ years of people leadership experience as a strong cross-cultural communicator and relationship builder at all levels of internal and client organization(s). The ability to work effectively across functions in a matrix organization. 10+ years of experience in engineering management. Experience leading engineering teams within EPC environments and managing large-scale industrial facility design projects. Technical Experience: Professional certification in project management. Proficiency in engineering tools such as: AutoCAD, project management software, and engineering analysis tools. Business Acumen: Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships effectively. Familiarity with contract management, procurement processes, and cost optimization strategies in EPC projects. Preferred Skills: Experience with heat tracing and industrial process heating. Strong understanding of heat transfer principles, electrical heating technologies, and control systems. Experience in heat trace system design, power distribution design, cable tray design, and related. Experience with industrial process heating design, electrical heat transfer, and heat exchangers. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, hazardous area classifications, and thermal insulation practices. Experience in advanced heat trace control systems, IoT-enabled monitoring, and related technologies. Knowledge of steam tracing, resistance heating, and alternative process heating technologies.
