Role: Research Scientist – Regulatory Affairs Artwork Review for Cosmetic (India & Export), Drugs (India) & Homecare (India & Export) category of products basis applicable regulations. Cosmetic product formulation compliance review as per country specific regulatory requirements in India and International markets. Support and inputs to R&D team on NPD development w.r.t. status/ usage limit of ingredients, specification or other points where regulatory inputs are required as per India and International market. Drug products compliance review as per Drug regulations, DPCO NPPA and understanding on Central and State Drug Authorities. Active participation in BIS subcommittee meetings (PCD-19 & CHD-25) / Industry association meetings and workshops/ seminars/ telecoms on various regulatory updates related to cosmetics. Monitor and update all draft standards and upcoming changes in regulations to respective stakeholders Monitoring, review, and representation to BIS/ Legal Metrology Department/ Industry Associations like IBHA, FICCI etc on upcoming regulations basis impact on Company’s Portfolio Preparing applications and supporting documents for registration/ notification/ approval of cosmetics within the stipulated timeline as per the regulatory guidance applicable in respective international market and ensure good documentation Inputs to respective team on consumer queries, ASCI complaints, Authority Notices, FDA notices Support to India & International market stakeholders for various references/ supporting documents Good to have knowledge on standard certification processes for IFRA, PETA, COSMOS, ECOCERT, HALAL, VEGAN etc. Review BIS QCO and communicate to CFT (Cross-functional Teams), the impact on new products and existing product portfolio. Experience & Education M. Pharma with 5-7 years of working experience in Cosmetic and Drug Regulatory Affairs in Home Care & Personal Care in FMCG organization. Preferrable experience: Cosmetics (India & Export market), Drugs (India market), Homecare (India & Export market).
