Manager – Training Department Reports to (Title) : Training Manager / HR Manager Company : Madura Coats Pvt Limited Job Purpose To assist in planning, organizing and delivering effective training programs that enhance employees’ skills, productivity, and compliance within the manufacturing environment. Ensures continuous development of workforce across various department including production, maintenance and quality control. Key Responsibilities 1. Training Planning & Implementation Assist in identifying training needs through skills gap analysis and coordination with department heads Support the creation of annual training calendars and plans Develop training modules and materials for technical, safety behavioural, SOP, New recruitment based on job requirements and soft skills 2. Training Delivery Organize and conduct in-house training sessions for operators, Supervisors and staff Coordinate with external trainers, vendors and consultants when required Maintain training attendance, feedback and effectiveness records 3. Evaluation & Reporting Asses the effectiveness of training through post-training evaluations and feedback analysis Prepare periodic training reports and dashboards for management review 4. Documentation & Compliance Ensure training records are maintained as per ISO or other industry standards Support compliance-related training such as fire safety, PPE usage, First aid and labour laws 5. Continuous Improvement Suggest improvements in training processes based on workforce performance and production goals Stay updated with the latest training trends and technologies relevant to textile industry 6. Team Coordination Supervise junior training staff or coordinators Collaborate with production, HR and quality departments for integrated training initiatives Key Skills & Competencies Good knowledge of textile production processes Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work with all levels of staff from floor workers to senior managers Excellent organization and documentation skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Textile Technology or related field Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in training, preferably in a manufacturing textile unit At Coats Group, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a diverse and collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
