About Microfluidic IDEX Microfluidics is a division of IDEX Corporation, specializing in the design and manufacture of high-shear fluid processors called Microfluidizer® processors. About the Role Execute commercial strategic plan to grow the Microfluidics business in India through channel selling mode, along with the Business development and growth of new products launch in the designated Territory Responsibilities Sales and Business development of Microfluidics business in the focussed Pharma and Biotech markets. Meets or exceeds order booking & sales (management) revenue plan as established through the AOP process. Collaboration with Channel Partner to support end customers, understanding their application requirements, technology presentation, trials support, and providing technically viable solutions to meet customers' needs. Works closely with the company agents(channel partners) and supports them through training/mentoring/monitoring to build capabilities for meeting the company's Objectives, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction. Ensure effective and consistent usage of IDEX operating model processes like daily management, Monthly Business review& annual operating plan. Provides Monthly forecasts in the designated time frame. Ensure Timely preparation of reports for local as well as BU leadership on KPI's and key matrices. Coordinates with the BU /Operations for the order management process & ensures customer satisfaction. Monitors and reports product sales, competitor (knowledge) activity, and overall market conditions Participate in industry events to create higher market awareness for existing and new products. Understands and evaluates evolving opportunities (generation) in the respective market Segment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering and an MBA from a reputed business school. 8+ years of sales experience Sales & marketing of high-value capital goods to the Pharma & Biotech industry, with experience in handling the distributor/channel partners, is preferred.
