The Role Covering the latest football news from the Premier League, WSL, Football League, Europe’s top domestic leagues, UEFA competitions and international football. Pre-eminent focus will be on producing match previews and predicted lineups for world football’s leading clubs, ensuring accuracy and high SEO standards. You're the perfect fit for our team if you: Experience of covering football news for a similar style platform. Outstanding written English skills. Excellent knowledge of the Premier League and European football. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, revolving around the European football calendar. Knowledge of WordPress and SEO practices. Strong writing ability to produce fast, accurate copy and well-written long-form pieces (10 article per day target). An ability to look for new and interesting angles when covering news. Ability to work as part of a team, and collaborate with other members of staff.
