Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team, focused on selling and promoting business award nomination packages and event sponsorship. The ideal candidate should have a strong network, excellent lead generation and convincing skills, and the ability to bring in their own clients and nominate them (or others) for relevant business awards.Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify, approach, and develop relationships with potential clients, nominees, and sponsors across various industries.Sales & Target Achievement: Drive sales of award nomination packages and event-related offerings to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets.Client Acquisition: Bring your own client base or actively prospect new clients interested in participating in prestigious business awards.Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and present relevant award categories and benefits of participation.Client Management: Build long-term relationships, manage communications, and ensure a smooth nomination and participation process.Networking: Leverage industry events, social platforms, and personal networks to grow client outreach and visibility.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and sales performance.Requirements: Proven experience in sales, business development, or event sponsorship sales (experience in B2B or awards/events industry is a plus)Strong network of corporate, SME, or startup clientsExcellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
