SMB Portfolio Sourcing & Management (Venture Sourcing Management - SMB / SME) Location: Ahmedabad, Pune Reports To: Hub Lead – Ecosystem Development Role Overview: TheSMB Portfolio Managerwill focus on identifying high-potentialsmall and medium businesses (SMBs)in their hub and supporting them withcorporate partnerships, market access, funding access, and growth strategies . Key Responsibilities: SMB Identification & Engagement Work withindustry associations (CII, FICCI, NASSCOM), government agencies, and corporatesto sourcescalable SMBs . FacilitateSMB onboardinginto growth programs, ensuring alignment with industry needs. Build relationships withcorporate accelerators and government support programs . Scaling & Market Access Facilitate corporate partnershipsto help SMBs securepilots, proof-of-concept projects, and B2B deals . Guide SMBs onmarket expansion strategiesand product-market fit refinement. Support SMBs innavigating public procurement opportunities . Alternative Financing & Investment Readiness Assist SMBs in accessinggrants, impact investments, and debt financing . Connect SMBs withalternative funding sources , including government-backed financing schemes. Organize investor meets, matchmaking withangel networks and micro-VCs . Tracking & Impact Measurement MaintainSMB growth data , tracking revenue, job creation, and funding raised. Develop success stories and case studies toshowcase impact and attract further investment . Provide strategic insights onSMB ecosystem development in the hub . Qualifications & Experience: 4–7 yearsexperience working withSMBs, industry bodies, or corporate innovation programs . Strong understanding ofbusiness scaling, market access, and alternative financing . Experience withpublic procurement and corporate partnershipsis a plus. Strong stakeholder engagement, business advisory, and project management skills.
