While IT4IT team is focused on continuous improvement related to IT processes and Tools, the Head of IT Excellence is providing support on continuous improvement related to functions such as Architecture or other technical experts. He / She is reporting to the Head of Transformation.His / Her main missions are: Bring the whole GCC organization into the right continuous improvement / transformation mindset. He / She is focused onimproving GCC efficiencywhile continuouslyoptimizing costanddelivery time . In this sense, the Head of IT Excellence willpropose relevant KPIs,implement and follow them. Build a network of experts (Internal within GCC or in other segments of ArcelorMittal Group, or external (network of vendors) to support the GCC operational Teams, e.g. Applications and Infrastructure. Some of the key aspects where the Head of IT Excellence is required to operate in a first stage are the followings: Agile practices(Agile coach) Senior architects, technical experts Change Managers Senior program / project ManagersThis list of expert networks will grow as per the recommendations of the Head of Excellence and approval of management team. Through this network, he/she is supporting IT projects of all application teams giving them best practices and support to implement them in their specific domains. Animate a community to look for reusability across the different teams (e.g. usage of same project methodologies, usage of same template to move to S4 or Rise, etc.). Organise architecture reviews. Challenge the as-is organization to seek for improvement and best practices (e.g. regrouping activities performed to different trans customers, creating shared monitoring teams, testing factories, ABAP factories, etc.) when relevant. Create an innovation dynamic (e.g. AI, POC’s factories, hackathons, etc.). Perform continuousmarket benchmarkonIT best practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders at global levels. You will work closely with ArcelorMittal IT teams.Qualifications: Master’s degree in IT, engineering, mathematics or Economics.Experience: Overall experience 15 years Min. 10 years’ experience in an enterprise organisation managing global projects & teams Relevant experience in programme management at international level. Experience in IT operations, IT Programme Management, or Progress Academy is a plus. Strong culture of international company, in IT organisationsSkills: You havestrong change managementandproject management skills . With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will interact with various stakeholders of different levels and functions and other IT services within the ArcelorMittal Group. You are used to work in an international context. You are a curious, organized, and detail-oriented enjoying working in teams within an industrial context. With solid analytical skills and risk management mindset, you aim to contribute to the performance of the projects you are overseeing. You have strong leadership skills, managerial and functional, and abilities to drive team performance. Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills. Analytical mindset and creativity to seek and encourage innovation and to redesign established processes for continuous improvement. You have strong organisational skills, making sure ideas are turning into concrete and adopted by your stakeholders. Understanding ofIT applications, architecture and systems is a must . An experience with offshore projects is a plus. Language skills: English (excellent level).
