Good understanding of External Disk Arrays, RAID array controllers and their managementRole descriptions Maintains and monitors backup servers with Avamar backup tool. 2 Performs daily routine maintenance, review Backup status Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions Implementing changes in the Backup environment Create and implement service improvements Knowledge of Backup hardware (physical and disk-based Virtual Tape Library (VTL) libraries) Good Knowledge on Avamar backup solution Knowledge of overall backup and storage design and related issues Good understanding of External Disk Arrays, RAID array controllers and their management Good knowledge on Pure storage and EMC Unity 3xx model SAN firmware upgrade and patch management Capture and report Daily/weekly/monthly operations metrics Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets. Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches. FC switches management as well as blade chassis FC devices. Execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes
