ATE PLC EngineerExp: 3-8 yrsLocation: BangaloreJob Description:Reporting to the Team Leader, the ATE PLC Engineer will participate on a multidisciplinary team whose responsibilities include the design and development of software to test aerospace and defines products. The ATE PLC Engineer will be responsible for safety system design and development of high performance test systems for acceptance testing of various types of products.This role will be focused on the design and documentation of safety system architecture, Control circuit, wiring in automated test equipment for aerospace products and systems.The ATE PLC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring setup, programming, testing, and implementation of computer control systems used for production automation and industrial equipment design.The ATE PLC Engineer should assist in following:Understanding the Test rig safety needs and requirementsDefining best suitable safety system architectures with PLC systemHands on experience in PLC programming and control system.Select suitable PLC controller and other safety modulesHands on experience in dealing with PLC safety modules, limit switches and other safety arrangements, ADC/DAC cards, etc.Experience is signal conditioning circuits, and cable harness designingManaging ATE application lifecycles dataThe ATE PLC Engineer should communicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation mediaInterfaces with the team working on Mechanical, software/hardware for success of meeting project schedulesBasic Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering with First Class3-8 years of exclusive experience in Safety System Design. Experience in Aerospace preferred.Good Knowledge on PLC programmingGood knowledge on Electrical schematics using MS Visio, OrCAD.Good problem solving skills and hardware engineering practicesHands on experience on various test equipment like PLC, Limit switches, Door Switches, Oil carts, Motors & Drive stand etc.Knowledge in communications like Serial, EthernetGood usage of tools like Version control, MS OFFICEVery Good Communication and Presentation Skills
