Intellops, AEX Website : Please also find below JD Location _Noida Job Summary: Sr. FinOps Practitioner We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior FinOps Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in optimizing our Azure cloud spending, driving cost efficiency, and fostering a culture of financial accountability. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Azure services, cost management tools, and FinOps best practices. You will collaborate with Customer’s engineering, finance, and product teams to ensure our cloud resources are utilized efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: Azure Cost Optimization: Analyze Azure cost and usage data to identify optimization opportunities. Implement cost-saving strategies through reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances, and right-sizing. Develop and maintain cost allocation models to accurately attribute cloud spending. Implement and manage Azure Cost Management + Billing tools. Provide recommendations on architectural changes to improve cost efficiency. Hands on experience with FinOps platform like Cloudability, Cloud Health, MyXalytics etc. AWS and GCP knowledge is good to have. FinOps Framework Implementation: Drive the adoption and implementation of FinOps principles and best practices. Develop and maintain FinOps policies, procedures, and documentation. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud cost and usage. Create and deliver training and awareness programs on FinOps for technical and non-technical teams. Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and maintain accurate cloud cost forecasts and budgets. Collaborate with finance teams to align cloud spending with overall financial plans. Provide regular reports and insights on cloud cost trends and variances. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various Customer’s engineering, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment on cloud cost optimization initiatives. Communicate cloud cost insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. Participate in cloud architecture reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness. Work with vendors to optimize licensing and billing. Experience: Overall 10 Years of exp. out of that 5+ years of experience in cloud cost management, with a strong focus on Azure. Proven track record of optimizing Azure cloud spending and driving cost efficiency. AWS and GCP services and cost optimization hands on good to have. Experience with FinOps principles and practices. Strong understanding of Azure services and pricing models. Experience with Azure Cost Management + Billing, Azure Monitor, and other relevant Azure tools. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Understanding of Cloud governance. Strong understanding of financial principles.
