Job Description

Position Title: D365 SCM Functional Solutions Architect Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture & Design: • Lead the design and implementation of D365 SCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs. • Develop solution roadmaps, system architecture, and integration strategies. • Provide guidance on best practices for supply chain operations within D365. Business & Process Analysis: • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define supply chain processes. • Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to optimize supply chain operations. • Design and document functional specifications for customizations and configurations. Implementation & Configuration: • Configure D365 SCM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, and Sales Order Processing. • Oversee data migration, system testing, and deployment activities. • Ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and third-party applications. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training: • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for D365 SCM and provide guidance to project teams. • Train and support end-users, ensuring adoption of best practices. • Work closely with developers, consultants, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery. Governance & Continuous Improvement: • Establish governance frameworks for system usage and change management. • Stay updated on Microsoft’s roadmap for D365 and recommend innovations to improve supply chain efficiency. • Drive continuous improvements and optimization of supply chain processes through D365 capabilities. Required Qualifications Experience: • 7+ years of experience in ERP implementation, with a focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or previous versions (AX 2012). • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in large-scale ERP implementations. • Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, and manufacturing processes. Technical Skills • 8+ years of experience in ERP implementations, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply. • Strong knowledge of SCM modules (Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Production, Demand Planning). • Experience with Power Platform, Azure integrations, and Microsoft ecosystem. • Deep understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, manufacturing, and procurement. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements for supply chain operations. • Project & Stakeholder Management: • Experience leading large-scale D365 SCM implementations in complex environments. • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with business and technical teams. • Strong documentation skills, including functional specifications and process flows. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time.
