Job Role: Application Packaging Job Location: Chennai/Noida Exp Range: 8Years to 12Years Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency): Converted the existing package created with NSIS Installer to Install Script MSI project of InstallShield Sequenced Applications for a virtual environment using Microsoft App-V 5.0 Interacting with Primary requester for requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, test, and Implementation. Created custom actions within MSI to make the applications work according to the company standards. Provided well-thought-out recommendations on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues. Responsible for the Quality Assurance of each application according to the Company standards Worked with the end-users to troubleshoot problems with the packaged applications. Extensively worked with Orca to edit the MSI tables, Merge Modules. Used VB Script for Custom actions and created components and associated with the feature as required. Worked on Silent Installs for certain applications to automate them for software distribution. Create, test virtualize applications and analyze application errors. Provided well-thought-out recommendations on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues.
