The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of DLP solutions for enterprise clients. This is a remote role based in India but will involve regular international travel to Japan to engage with client teams, conduct workshops, and support implementation activities.Key Responsibilities:Lead DLP strategy and implementation projects across various client environmentsConfigure and manage enterprise DLP tools (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview, McAfee/Trellix, etc.)Conduct DLP risk assessments and gap analysis, recommend mitigation stepsCreate policies, procedures, and workflows around data classification, handling, and loss preventionCollaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, IT, and legal to align DLP policies with organizational requirementsPerform incident monitoring, alert tuning, and rule refinementProvide support during audits and compliance assessments related to data securityPrepare detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholders and senior managementConduct training and awareness sessions on DLP best practicesTravel to Japan as required for client projects, stakeholder interactions, and onsite supportRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in DLP and information protection rolesProficient in at least one leading DLP solution (e.g., Symantec, Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, McAfee)Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, APPI, HIPAA, etc.) related to data privacyExperience in data classification, data discovery, and endpoint protectionSolid knowledge of network and cloud security conceptsExcellent documentation and communication skillsAbility to manage client expectations and work in a multicultural environmentJapanese language skills or prior experience working with Japanese clients is a plusPreferred Certifications (not mandatory):Symantec DLP Certified SpecialistMicrosoft Information Protection Administrator AssociateCIPP/US, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy certificationsISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead AuditorCISSP / CISA / CEH
