Job Description

A US Based IT MNC is looking for Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Operational Resilience & Outsourcing for one of their Client in Banking Domain.As Project Manager - Operational Resilience & Outsourcing, you will lead the development and implementation of Bank’s operational resilience and vendor management frameworks. Your primary focus will be ensuring that the organization can respond to and recover from disruptions, both through internal capabilities and third-party arrangements. You will also oversee outsourcing activities, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements and Bank’s risk appetite.Immediate or Early Joiners OnlyWork Mode: RemoteShift Timings: 5:30 PM - 1: 30 AM (Indian Time)Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Equivalent MandatoryKey Responsibilities:Framework Development and Continuous ImprovementDesign, implement, and maintain Clarien’s operational resilience, outsourcing, and vendor management frameworks.Align frameworks with industry best practices and evolving regulatory expectations.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with internal policies, standards, and applicable regulations (e.g., PIPA, Cyber Code of Conduct).Maintain oversight of procedures, assessing their operational effectiveness.Vendor Governance & Outsourcing OversightDevelop and manage procurement and vendor governance strategies aligned with risk tolerance.Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, license management, and procurement activities.Ensure SLAs and KPIs are clearly defined in contracts and regularly monitored.Coordinate vendor due diligence, audits, and performance reviews.Stakeholder EngagementPartner with key stakeholders (e.g., Operational Risk, IT, Procurement) to address resilience and vendor risk gaps.Provide expert guidance across business units regarding sourcing and third-party service delivery.Business Continuity ManagementLead Bank’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) efforts across departments.Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify and assess potential disruptions.Coordinate training and awareness programs on resilience, BCP, and vendor management.Training & DevelopmentDevelop and deliver training to business units on operational resilience, outsourcing, and continuity planning.Support department leads in understanding and executing their responsibilities.Continuous Improvement & ReportingSupport business departments in implementing resilience and vendor-related improvement plans.Prepare and present regular reports to the Risk Management Committee and senior leadership.Backup ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the Security Systems and Premises Officer in physical security and facilities-related matters as needed.Capabilities & RequirementsExperience:Minimum 5 years in a leadership or team management role with accountability for budgeting and resource planning.Proven experience in business continuity planning and testing within the financial services industry.Demonstrated experience with outsourced service provider management and vendor performance monitoring.Skills & Expertise:In-depth knowledge of operational resilience, outsourcing, and third-party risk regulations and best practices.Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience in financial modeling and vendor financial analysis.Ability to identify risks and drive mitigation strategies across departments.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.Qualifications (Preferred):Professional certifications in Vendor Management, Business Continuity, or Risk Management.Background in engineering, procurement, or related technical disciplines is a plus.
