Alternative Path is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Analyst- Fund Accounting to assist one of its clients. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our client’s internal and partner teams. ResponsibilitiesReview quarterly fund financial statements prepared by other members of the department and third-party administratorsAssist with the audit of fund financial statementsAssist in reconciliation of financial documents.Maintain and review cash positions entries for various private equity fundsIndependently assess and resolve client questions and requestsEnsure accuracy and timely delivery of client deliverables and oversight of administratorsManage aspects of departments core functionsPresent departments goals and initiatives to internal personnel and existing or prospective clients Skills Required:Undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.) in accounting or related field1-3 years working experience in an accounting/financial industry settingKnowledge of private equity fund services industry preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be detail oriented and organized and possess excellent analytical skills
