Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist – Hot Melt Adhesives Location: Bahadurgarh, Haryana Department: Sales & Technical Services Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Head Experience Required: 3–6 years in technical or B2B industrial sales (preferably adhesives, polymers, or specialty chemicals) Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for our Hot Melt Adhesives division. This role involves a blend of sales expertise and technical knowledge to drive customer engagement, application support, and business development across various industries such as footwear, packaging, automotive, hygiene, woodworking, and bookbinding . The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, technically sound, and results-driven. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted industry sectors. Meet sales targets by promoting hot melt adhesive products to OEMs, manufacturers, and distributors. Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts. Technical Application Support: Understand customer processes and recommend suitable hot melt adhesive solutions. Conduct product trials, demos, and application support at client locations. Address technical issues, coordinate troubleshooting with R&D or QA teams. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders. Serve as the technical point of contact during sales and post-sales interactions. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Track market trends, competitor products, and pricing dynamics. Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product gaps, and improvement areas. Maintain sales data, visit reports, and activity logs in CRM systems. Key Skills & Competencies: Solid understanding of hot melt adhesive chemistry , usage, and industrial applications. Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills. Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to handle on-site technical discussions. Self-motivated with strong time and territory management skills. Willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions. Qualifications: B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma in Chemical, Polymer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field). 3–6 years of relevant experience in technical/industrial sales , especially adhesives, polymers, or chemical consumables.
