Job Dimensions The role reports to Team Leader and is responsible to maintain & sustain skills in blending, formulation development, and general analytical tests. Maintain and upgrade lab capabilities as per the TotalEnergies standards and to ensure continuous adherence to TotalEnergies HSEQ requirements. This role also intended to contribute to company’s ambition to reduce the carbon footprint goals. These goals can be achieved by developing recycled and as well as sustainable products-based solutions. Activities: - Ensure timely delivery of lab services for all stake holders including and not limited to blend studies, analyses, raw material and finished goods procurement, pilot plant batches, outside lab testing, method development. Ensure timely maintenance and Up-keeping of lab instruments (AMC’s, on call maintenance). Responsible for writing test reports and interpretations on timely manner as needed Inventory management of all raw material and chemicals at site and ensure timely disposal and reduce generation of used and hazardous waste at site. Develop and maintain network of third party labs in and around Mumbai to ensure the support of 3 party labs in case required and ensure validation of results from outsourced lab. Responsible for HSEQ of the lab equipment’s and the related site area. Support the other teams like fuels, lubricants and analytical testing and support in development of new team members. Maintain proper housekeeping of the laboratory. Required Profile: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry or chemical Engineering/ Master Degree (can be Organic chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Polymer Chemistry as per position requirement) or equivalent. Should know about data analysis and DOE. Should have human / organizational skills as below: organized, autonomous, with good scientific rigor open-minded, creative and have a sense of adaptability equipped with interpersonal skills can account and work transversally Language level required: fluent in English (written and oral both), knowledge of French will be added advantage.
