A mechanical design job typically involves creating, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering, with experience in designing complex mechanical systems and components. You will be responsible for developing innovative designs, creating detailed drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in India and Europe to ensure the successful implementation of projects. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop mechanical systems, components, constructive customised solutions and functions according to project requirements and specifications. Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD,). Configure machines with Tacton and Solidworks. Create parts, assemblies, modules and parts lists. SAP Know-how is preferred. Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to verify design performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and suggest improvements or modifications as necessary. Document design processes, specifications, and changes throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design and engineering practices. COMPETENCIES Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 1-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD & Tacton). Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to travel within India and Abroad for training and business purpose when necessary.
