Vice Principal: Homeopathy Parul University is seeking candidates who will be responsible for driving academic and administrative excellence within the faculty. Key responsibilities include ensuring the efficient conduct of classes, examinations, and technical training programs, fostering innovation and research, strengthening industry partnerships, and promoting international collaborations and exchange programs. Eligibility - Post-graduate degree in homeopathy with not less than 10 years of Teaching with Administrative experience of not less than three years in a homeopathic,medical college or hospital Detailed Position Responsibilities: a) Provide guidance to Heads of Departments and teachers in designing timetables to optimize the utilization of infrastructure and human resources effectively. b) Oversee the timely preparation and distribution of information among students upon commencement of the semester/ term containing essential details about studies, examinations, rules, schedules, and guidelines. c) Serve as point of contact for the institution to ensure the timely completion of the enrollment generation process for newly admitted students, verifying compliance with all stipulated requirements and for matters related to conduct of internal and external examinations ensuring that institutional internal and external exams are conducted smoothly addressing any related issues promptly d) Ensure that institutional data related to teaching and learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students is regularly updated on the university website and the MIS. e) Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to understand challenges related to teaching and learning process and examinations and explore solutions in consultation with the Principal. f) Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on the teaching-learning process and the conduct of examinations and explore avenues for continuous Updation/ enhancement in the same in consultation with the Principal. g) Assist the Principal and Dean of the respective faculty in preparing for the scheduled visit of the expert committee for the institute's inspection. h) Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in collaboration with the Principal and the Centre for Human Resource Development. i) Collaborate with the Admissions Cell to organize career awareness seminars in various regions to promote the institute & programmes among prospective students. Additional Responsibilities to be carried out jointly with Dean of the Faculty and Principal of the College a) Monitor and manage workload distribution among staff members to ensure equitable assignments and smooth operations within the institute. b) Ensure strict adherence to the university’s code of conduct by staff and students and take necessary actions against violations. c) Maintain a repository of data on enrolled and graduated students, including their academic credentials, placements, higher studies, institutional infrastructure, research facilities, details of degree programs offered, scholarships and any other information required by ranking, accreditation, or government agencies, ensuring its timely and accurate submission whenever needed. d) Build and maintain strong partnerships with industries and research institutions for projects, internships, and research grants. e) Assist the Training and Development Cell in organizing campus recruitment drives and ensure maximum student participation. f) Collaborate with the Alumni Association Cell to implement initiatives for promoting the courses offered by the university to final-year students, fostering their continued association with the university. g) Work with the Centre for International Relations and Research to facilitate participation in Faculty/Student Exchange Programs and ensure timely processing of credit transfers for participating students. h) Work in partnership with the Director, CDOE, to promote Online Learning (OL) and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes offered by the university to alumni and facilitate their enrollment in these programmes. i) Promote research and development initiatives in coordination with the University’s Research and Development Cell to enhance research output For Further Queries and Application :-
