Key Responsibilities / Job Role – Plan preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical faults in automated lines. Ensure fast recovery of breakdowns to minimize production loss. Supervise installation of new automated equipment. Participate in commissioning tests and system validation. Ensure mechanical systems meet performance and hygiene standards. Coordinate with vendors and contractors during projects. Estimate costs, timelines, and resources for mechanical aspects of automation. Ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of mechanical components. Ensure machinery complies with food safety (HACCP/GMP) and mechanical safety standards. Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to ISO and FSSAI standards. Typical Equipment Should Work with: Conveyors, gearboxes, valves, pumps, Pneumatics and hydraulics systems. Collaborate with electrical and automation engineers to integrate mechanical systems with PLCs and SCADA.
