Job Description: Fairfest Media, the organizer of TTF, OTM, and BLTM, is an established leader in travel trade shows in India, serving governments and businesses from over 100 countries. Fairfest’s flagship travel event is OTM, which is well-recognised as India’s leading travel event and is the largest B2B travel show in the Asia-Pacific region. We are looking to expand our editorial team. We are looking for a sharp, inquisitive, and editorially strong News Media Analyst/Editor to help us curate, analyze, and deliver high-impact content across our platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply interested in news, media trends, and content strategy, with a flair for writing, editing, and insight generation. Key Responsibilities: Curate and analyze news from diverse sources to identify relevant trends, stories, and developments across industries, particularly in business, travel, and events. Edit and refine news briefs, articles, and reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, tone consistency, and adherence to Fairfest’s editorial standards. Monitor key publications and digital platforms daily to surface high-quality and timely content for internal and external use. Collaborate with editorial and research teams to generate insightful summaries and content recommendations based on topical relevance and audience interests. Assist in content strategy , including editorial calendars, thematic coverage, and timely content distribution. Work with internal stakeholders to shape editorial initiatives and enhance visibility of our media platforms. Occasionally contribute to social media posts and updates to support digital engagement and audience feedback. Participate in editorial reviews, brainstorm sessions, and team discussions to drive innovation in content and storytelling. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, Media Studies, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in a newsroom, media company, research, or editorial environment is preferred. Excellent command of English writing and editing with a keen eye for detail and structure. A strong understanding of current affairs, media trends, and digital publishing. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Collaborative mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
