About the Role The Section Head – Accounts role is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, managing the accounts team, enforcing compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) , and overseeing key processes such as accounts payable/receivable, tax filings, and credit control. The ideal candidate will have 15–18+ years of post-qualification experience (depending on educational background), strong knowledge of accounting principles, and prior experience in the manufacturing sector. Only candidates with existing CTC of 18-20 lacs should apply. Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements Managing the accounts team Enforcing compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) Overseeing key processes such as accounts payable/receivable, tax filings, and credit control Liaising with banks for guarantees and transactions Resolving vendor/customer payment issues Mentoring the accounting team to uphold best practices Qualifications 12–18+ years of post-qualification experience (depending on educational background) Required Skills Proficiency in accounting systems Financial analysis Regulatory compliance Leadership Communication Preferred Skills Prior experience in the manufacturing sector
