We invite you to find out more about becoming part of our team. Job Summary: The role of Audit Manager is an integral member of the Audit Practice at the Firm. In this role, you will provide services to our financial services group. Through building strong relationships with customers, including paying special attention to industry trends and customer needs, the Audit Manager provides services that extend beyond traditional audits and reviews. Responsibilities : Plan, supervise and perform external financial statement audits for community bank and credit union clients. Evaluate client’s internal control systems and develop recommendations to improve client processes, accounting systems, control structure and procedures, and efficiency. Identify issues and recommend creative solutions to complex customer issues. Work and communicate effectively with staff and customers to enhance their understanding of business and audit processes. Work on multiple engagements simultaneously Develop positive working relationships with all customers, demonstrating a proactive interest in understanding their business needs. Respond to customers in timely manner as promised. Display exemplary work habits when communicating with customers. Direct and control engagement planning process to successful completion. Bottom-line management of assigned engagements and individual productivity opportunities. Participate in billing and collection process. Scheduling, staffing, and coordinate engagement workflow. Pursue opportunities to provide additional services; pursue leads; retain customers. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with individual customers and appropriate financial officers. Coach and develop staff’s understanding of our business and general business world. Serve as a mentor and role model. Review work of associates and seniors and provide timely feedback. Comply with firm’s practice management procedures/systems. Always maintain confidentiality. Ask for timely feedback and assistance. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant or CPA 5+ years of recent audit experience (U.S. audit experience preferred) with a concentration in the financial services industry. Successful experience in developing new or extended service opportunities with existing and/or prospective customers. Strong oral and written interpersonal skills. Effective analytical and problem-solving ability. Experience in developing and leading a team of professional auditors. Ability to multitask along with demonstration of commitment to continuous learning Experience with CaseWare preferred Working Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Non-Busy Season / 40 hours per week. Busy Season (January - April) / 55 hours per week (to be outlined in the employment agreement). Travel May be required to travel up to four to eight weeks to U.S. offices.
