Job Title: Hardware MedTech Technical/Functional Skills: Must have skills Develop systems architecture, prototypes, analyze and design electronic and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. Product design within regulatory requirements per applicable US and other relevantmedical device directives providing leadership to cross functional engineering teams, including design and quality. 8+ years of product development leadership experience, leading significant projects from early-stage development to production. 8+ years in HW design engineering roles and/or electrical engineering design and development, preferably for Class II or Class III medical devices. A depth of experience with systems engineering and requirements management. A track record of accomplishment in managing projects involving embedded microcontrollers, hardware architecture, embedded software design, motor and control feedback circuits, sensors, mixed signal circuit design and PCB layout. A depth of experience in driving cross-functional, multi-departmental project work with a track record of strong accomplishment in achieving results. Support System Integration, Verification and Validation by defining, specifying, and supervising testing, analysis and integration activities. Ensure reports are prepared to document the results of such activities. Accountable to oversee the development of requirements for different disciplines such as Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electro-optics and others. Hardware / software integration experience. Experience in Embedded circuits and Power design Good Understanding of Embedded firmware and protocols Experience in design & development of Medical grade PCBs ( monitoring , diagnostics, therapeutic devices class II and III) Good understanding of design complying EMI- EMC testing as per medical device standards Hardware debugging and analysis skills Experience with IEC medical standards , general and ( IEC60601 -1, IEC60601-2) Understanding of risk management for medical devices Experience in developing schematics and layouts as per design requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
