Job Description

Job Purpose: To ensure quality compliance and oversight during technology transfer of agrochemical processes (Technical, Intermediate, reaction monitoring, wet lab analysis etc,) from R&D to the Kilo lab / pilot plant. The role involves Validation support, documentation review, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure and prepare Quality Plan and Method of analysis etc.. during scale-up activities. Key Responsibilities: Technology Transfer Oversight: Facilitate and monitor technology transfer of agrochemical (Technical, Intermediate, reaction monitoring, wet lab analysis etc ,,) or technical grade actives from R&D to the pilot plant. Review and verify pilot batch protocols , process safety data , product specifications , and method validation documents . Documentation and Compliance: Ensure implementation of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant ISO /OECD norms applicable to agrochemicals. On-Floor Quality Support: Provide QC support during lab-scale trials , pilot batches , and exhibit batches for regulatory submission or commercial scale-up. Ensure compliance with quality and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines during execution. Analytical Method Transfer: Coordinate with QC and R&D for analytical method validation and transfer for active ingredients and technical stability testing. Ensure test methods are validated per agrochemical. Training & Quality Culture: Conduct quality-related training for operators and plant staff on safe handling of agrochemicals , QC procedures, and compliance. Key Interfaces: Analytical Development / QC Lab Qualifications and Experience: Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry, Agriculture, or related science; or B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering Experience: 0–5 years in QA/QC in agrochemical , chemical , or formulation pilot plant environment Knowledge: Understanding of agrochemical formulation processes, handling of hazardous substances, and exposure to Indian (CIB&RC) and global regulatory standards.
