Job Title: Skills Development and TVET Specialist Location: Shillong, Meghalaya Company: KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd Practice: Education and Skill Development About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Skills Development and TVET Specialist to support a skills project in Shillong, Meghalaya. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in technical and vocational education and training (TVET), with a strong understanding of India’s national skills qualification standards and experience working with Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) or reputed vocational training agencies. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support in the design, implementation, and monitoring of skills development and TVET initiatives. Align training programs with India’s National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). Collaborate with ITIs, vocational training providers, and government stakeholders. Contribute to curriculum development, capacity building, and quality assurance processes. Support project reporting, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in skills development and TVET. Proven familiarity with India’s national skills qualification standards . Prior work with ITIs or reputed vocational training agencies in India is highly desirable. Exposure to international technical education programs will be an added advantage. Preferred Criteria: Experience working on International Financial Institution (IFI) -funded projects. Candidates from Meghalaya or the Northeast region will be given preference.
