The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP, MySQL, and modern web technologies, with hands-on experience in theme and module development, site performance optimization, and third-party integrations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Magento 1x/2x eCommerce websites.Customize themes, templates, and modules based on client requirements.Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.Integrate third-party tools and APIs, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches.Work closely with the design and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery.Required Skills:Strong knowledge of Magento (1x and 2x), PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.Experience in Magento theme integration, extension development, and customization.Good understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, LAMP stack, and database design.Familiarity with web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and performance tuning.Hands-on with at least 2 PHP frameworks and version control systems like Git.Nice to Have:Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, GTM, A/B Testing.Experience with CMS like WordPress, OpenCart, OsCommerce.Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.Magento Certification and/or Java Certification is a plus.
