Role Overview: Data Engineer – Azure In this role, you will: Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure-native tools Ingest and transform both structured and unstructured datasets Build domain-specific data lakes and data warehouse layers Implement real-time data streaming architectures using Kafka and Spark Work extensively with Python, PySpark, Hive, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra Integrate automation, monitoring, and TDD practices across data workflows Collaborate with BI, analytics, governance, and infrastructure teams Support production releases and CI/CD-enabled data deployment pipelines Who You Are 4–8 years of experience in hands-on data engineering roles Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Unix/Linux scripting Deep expertise with Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Docker, and Kubernetes Practical experience with Kafka, Hive, Spark, Hadoop, and the ELK stack Knowledge of metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and data streaming patterns Familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices Bonus: Experience with Postgres, Oracle, SAS, or visualization tools like QlikSense A detail-oriented problem-solver with a performance-driven mindset Position Details Role: Data Engineer – Azure Experience: 4–8 years Location: Pune / Trivandrum (Hybrid) Start Date: Immediate or within 30 days Why Join Claidroid?
