About Cosy We’re building India’s most advanced urban farming company - fast, scrappy, and focused on real outcomes. Right now, we’re designing an automated nutrient dosing system for our pilot farm in Mumbai. This is not a theoretical role - this is about building real systems that dose real nutrients into real plants, and don’t screw up. What You'll Work On You’ll lead the development of a small but critical automation system for nutrient and pH management. This includes integrating sensors, pumps, and control logic to maintain water quality in our hydroponic systems. You’ll be expected to figure out the right tools, build the system, test it under farm conditions, and create simple alerts and logs for our ops team. Responsibilities Design and build a small-scale nutrient dosing system Integrate pH, EC, and temperature sensors into the system Evaluate alternative sensors and dosing components based on cost and reliability Implement logic to monitor water parameters and trigger dosing when needed Set up daily monitoring and alert mechanisms for farm staff Write documentation for calibration, maintenance, and issue handling Monitor system performance during real-world usage and debug issues What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with electronics, automation, and sensor integration Past experience working with microcontrollers (e.g., Raspberry Pi, ESP32, Arduino) Familiarity with relays, peristaltic pumps, analog/digital sensors Practical mindset - you care about whether it works, not how elegant the code looks Independent, resourceful, and capable of figuring things out without hand-holding Timeline & Commitment 6–8 week project-based internship Based in Mumbai preferred (must be available for physical visits to the farm) Option to continue on a monthly retainer for ongoing support and debugging Bonus If You: Have worked on agri-tech, hydroponics, or automation systems before Can show us something you’ve built with sensors/pumps/IoT Think like a builder, not a researcher How to Apply Send us: A short write-up (1–2 paragraphs) on a past automation or hardware project you’ve built Any photos, videos, or GitHub links if you have them Why this role interests you Email us at
