Our client, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturer is looking for a Truck Assessment Specialist with an understanding of truck operations, product life, used vehicle regulations, vehicle inspection, used vehicle value assessment, retrofitment and refurbishment, vehicle ownership transfer. Key Responsibilities for the Role: 1.Truck Operations Analysis Monitor and evaluate daily operations and usage patterns of commercial trucks to assess performance and operational costs. 2. Lifecycle and Product Health Management Track vehicle usage metrics to estimate product life and recommend maintenance or replacement cycles. 3. Used Vehicle Regulation Compliance Ensure adherence to regional and national laws concerning the resale, scrappage, and documentation of used commercial vehicles. 4. Vehicle Inspection and Evaluation Conduct thorough inspections of used trucks to evaluate mechanical and structural health for resale or reuse. 5. Value Assessment and Pricing Assess market value of used vehicles based on condition, mileage, brand, and demand; recommend optimal pricing strategies. 6. Refurbishment & Retrofitment Advisory Identify and suggest appropriate refurbishment or upgrade actions (engine tuning, bodywork, tyre replacements, etc.) to increase resale value. 7. Ownership Transfer and Documentation Facilitate and manage the smooth transfer of vehicle ownership, including all RTO documentation and regulatory compliance.
