JOB PURPOSE Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) is seeking a hands-on Omnichannel Product Manager to drive execution and innovation across our ecommerce and offline integration channels, including retail, F&B, Duty Free, lounges , and other passenger-facing services. The role combines daily operations and merchant management (60%) with product and tech development (40%) , ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of process, technology, and business growth. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.Operations, Cataloguing, Merchant Management & Business Analytics (60%) Manage daily ecommerce and omnichannel operations, ensuring seamless functioning across online and in-terminal experiences Lead merchant onboarding, product cataloguing, pricing updates, and inventory availability across platforms Ensure SLA compliance and operational readiness for all participating brands and concessionaires Create dashboards and analytics reports to track sales performance, category trends, merchant-level metrics, customer behavior, and operational KPIs Monitor and reduce operational exceptions, refund delays, and payment mismatches. Conduct periodic business reviews with merchant partners and drive continuous performance improvement. 2.Technology & Product Development (40%) Define and execute the product roadmap for omnichannel enablement – O2O journeys, POS integrations, real-time inventory sync, loyalty tie-ins, and platform automation Translate operational pain points and user feedback into clear product requirements and user stories Work closely with engineering, UI/UX, QA and external partners to deliver high-quality, scalable features Own backlog prioritization, sprint planning, testing, and production rollouts Drive feature adoption and monitor KPIs such as transaction success rates, funnel drop-offs, and user engagement metrics Use data insights to iterate and improve platform capabilities for passengers, merchants, and internal stakeholders Education qualification and pre-requisites MBA / Post Graduation Budgeting and P&L accountability Min 8–10 years in ecommerce or omnichannel product management and ops management. Experience in Product management and Operations management both are compulsory. Strong experience in managing merchant ecosystems, catalogue systems, and customer-facing digital platforms Exposure to tech stacks and product development cycles (JIRA, Figma, Confluence, analytics tools) Familiarity with ecommerce across multiple categories like food, retail, and duty-free is highly desirable Prior experience with airport retail or travel commerce platforms is a strong plus Key Competencies: Strong execution discipline with ability to manage details without losing sight of strategy Analytical thinking with comfort in working with dashboards, MIS tools, and data platforms Structured communicator who can align diverse internal and external stakeholders Product mindset with an eye for customer experience and business impact Self-starter who thrives in high-energy, dynamic environments
