Fretlog, a subsidiary of Arkas Logistics, is looking to fill an Executive-CSU & Pricing vacancy in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) The Executive – CSU & Pricing is responsible for supporting the execution of customer service and pricing strategies within the Import exports division of the freight forwarding services. This role involves assisting in managing customer service operations, responding to customer inquiries, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery, and supporting the implementation of competitive pricing strategies for Import export services. Main Responsibilities: Prepare sea and air rate quotations for all client inquiries, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness Communicate with overseas agents to secure the best pricing for shipments to increase profits Negotiate with vendors to secure the most favorable rates for all logistics requirements, including overseas partners and agents Take regular feedback from customers to improve processes and address concerns or grievances promptly Take daily follow-ups with clients to monitor business and address any new inquiries Rate quotation for monthly Requests for Quotation (RFQ) from Key Clients Act as the main point of contact between the company and customers, ensuring open communication Communicate with the sales team for rate negotiations, margin discussions, customer indications, and securing business Qualifications: University degree or suitable equivalent Minimum 2 years of work experience in the same field MS Office programs Excellent problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Outstanding people skills
