Position Summary We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor – International Business who can deliver industry-aligned teaching and research, especially in areas such as global trade, export-import processes, and international logistics. Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as: International Business Strategy Global Trade & Export Management EXIM Documentation and Procedures International Trade Laws and Compliance Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management International Marketing & Cross-Cultural Management Design and regularly update course content to align with current international trade practices and policy developments. Guide students in academic projects, field assignments, and trade simulations. Foster practical learning by integrating real-world case studies, trade data analysis, and interactive tools. Mentor students for research papers, internships, and industry engagements. Contribute to departmental initiatives including curriculum development, academic events, and institutional outreach. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: MBA or Master’s in International Business / Global Trade / Logistics / Supply Chain or a related field (mandatory) UGC-NET Qualified (preferred) Ph.D. in International Business, Trade, or a related discipline (highly desirable) Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in International Business or Trade Management Prior exposure to teaching or working in areas like EXIM documentation , trade laws , and logistics will be a strong advantage Industry experience in export-import operations, global sourcing, or freight forwarding (desirable) Required Skills & Competencies In-depth understanding of global trade mechanisms, WTO guidelines, EXIM policies, and international shipping procedures Ability to explain complex documentation and compliance regulations in an engaging academic format Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with digital teaching tools and platforms A research-oriented mindset with a track record of academic contributions (preferred) Why Join Us?
