Job Title: SDET Employment Type: Hybrid mode of work (3 Days work from office) Experience Level: 5+ Years Job Overview: We are seeking an expert Software Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in Financial Services. The ideal candidate should be conversant with buy-side and sell-side Order Management Systems (OMS) and workflows. Roles & Responsibility: The QA Engineer will be responsible test plan development, execution, and results tracking as a member of a diverse, globally distributed team. The candidate will conduct in-depth application and workflow testing, as well as provide QA leadership and feedback to a diverse globally distributed team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and other QA personnel. · Collaborating with cross-functional agile team members to understand project requirements/user stories and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases. · Designing, developing, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts, with focus on creating effective and reusable test scripts. · Working closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution. Education & Preferred Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science strongly preferred. · 8+ years’ experience, at least 4+ years in Financial Services. · Expert knowledge in testing methodologies, QA terminologies and processes. · Experience with PL/SQL, Databricks · Experience with JIRA/Xray · Experience with Agile/KANBAN · Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills. · Strong organizational skills, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail. · Experience with JAVA-Selenium
