Role:Cisco UCS L3 Data Center Engineer Experience: 7 Years to 12 Years Location: Mumbai/Thane Work Nature: Work from office Notice period : Immediate to 30 Days We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco UCS L3 Data Center Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support for Cisco's Unified Computing System (UCS) and HyperFlex solutions to our valued customers. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting complex issues, implementing solutions, and maintaining robust data center environments. Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support for Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) server solutions and Cisco HyperFlex Systems. Manage and maintain UCS infrastructure using tools such as UCS Manager, Cisco Intersight, and Cisco UCS Central. Perform ESXi hypervisor installations on UCS servers. Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems on UCS servers. Apply strong knowledge of UCS C-series and UCS B-series servers, UCS HCI Nutanix nodes, and Cisco HyperFlex products to resolve technical challenges. Execute firmware upgrades and driver installations for UCS-C and UCSM. Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of Cisco UCS Blades, Chassis, Fabric Interconnects, and IOM-related issues. Perform VMware installations, patching, and upgrades, ensuring systems meet customer requirements. Work extensively with UCS B-Series, UCS C-Series Rack Servers, UCS Server and Systems Management, UCS Fabric Interconnects, Fabric Extenders, Server I/O Adapters, and GPUs. Resolve product or service problems by effectively clarifying customer complaints, diagnosing root causes, recommending optimal solutions, and ensuring timely correction and follow-up. Analyze server logs to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Possess a basic understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, routing, etc.). Possess a basic understanding of storage concepts (RAID, SAN, etc.). Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of enterprise virtualization solutions using Cisco/VMware vSphere . Strong understanding of storage concepts , including RAID, disk subsystems, and file systems. Knowledge of vSAN . Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Nutanix OS . CCNA/CCNP certification is a plus. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar L3 support role within a data center environment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
