Proficient in international quality standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and applicable electrical product certifications. Strong command of quality tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, RCA, and 8D. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and quality documentation platforms. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution. Job Description: Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the company-wide quality vision, policy, and objectives aligned with business goals. Lead the development and execution of quality strategies covering manufacturing, supplier development, customer quality, and system compliance. Product & Process Quality: Ensure robust quality control systems across the manufacturing of transformer bushings—from raw material to final product. Oversee failure analysis, corrective action implementation, and quality improvements in design, production, and field performance. Customer Quality & Satisfaction: Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction through improved product reliability, complaint resolution, and response time. Ensure customer quality requirements and audits (e.g., from OEMs, utilities, or export clients) are effectively handled. Supplier Quality & Vendor Development: Oversee supplier qualification, audits, incoming quality control, and vendor performance monitoring. Drive supplier improvement programs to strengthen upstream quality and reduce rework or returns. Compliance & Certifications: Ensure adherence to relevant international and national standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ISO 9001/14001, etc.). Lead certification and surveillance audits from external bodies and ensure zero non-conformances. Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement: Promote a quality-first culture across departments using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and TQM principles. Monitor and report KPIs related to quality performance, cost of poor quality (COPQ), and internal/external failure rates. Leadership & Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing, multi-level quality team covering QA, QC, testing, and systems.
