We are looking for Assistant Manager-Banquet Sales in Bengaluru & Mumbai. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will proactively pursue lead and existing accounts through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets for banquet events. Develop proposals and negotiate event contracts and pricing in alignment with company policies. Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings against assigned market (s). Utilize your sales savvy and expertise to develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers Communicate regularly with key wedding planners, social contacts, and other industry support. Establish account information. Call on major contacts (personally or phone). Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure accurate event execution as per client expectations Possess excellent written and verbal communications, a guest service focus, a team orientation and a passion for sales. In addition to your sellings kills, we need creativity, motivation and dedication for this position Actively pursue new business both locally and nationally, including visiting new offices and businesses, attending exhibitions, BNI events and continually seek leads that will provide catering business. Manages function details to ensure complete satisfaction and repeat business. Review event bills for accuracy and approve payment. Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved. Minimum Educational Qualification Graduate or MBA Number of Years of Experience 4+ years of experiences in sales and must be well versed with sales acumen and tools. Required Skills Sales acumen Good English communication skill, Interpersonal relationship skill, MS- Excel Skill in negotiating contracts, pricing and services to meet both client and business needs. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and exceeding expectations. Understanding the features of the venue, including different banquet hall setups, menu options, audiovisual services, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
