Job Description

General Responsibilities: (8 to 12 yrs) • Strengthen Global cost controlling at granular level and ensure accurate/ timely cost reporting • Conduct moderately complex cost analytics and provide insights on cost drivers leading to financial variance • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results against previous periods and forecast • Actively participate in the monthly and quarterly management reporting to senior management • Proactively assess and implement continuous improvements in controlling and reporting procedures • Identify cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities on global spend Drive cost controlling standards across the globe and perform periodic quality checks on cost recognition to maintain high data quality • Recommend and implement necessary business / process controls and ensure compliance to internal and external requirements are met • Role requires the application of professional expertise to achieve results • Candidate is expected to apply subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues Specific Responsibilities Process Related • Review of costs related to 2M / Gemini related to capacity- quality/accuracy of postings • Cost Driver and Allocation review • Ensure all adequate controls are in place • Monitor KPI on a regular basis • Handle ad-hoc queries from operations, network team, VSA partner (reg. cost treatment, contingencies, validation, allocations, etc.) • Follow up on any process/IT issues with the IT team • Follow up on any allocation related issues with the network team • Responsible for Master data quality • Review the material/GL mapping and approver mapping on a regular basis • Proforma and Actual settlement – including one off events • Review of settlement amounts with Stakeholders • Able to link Accounting and Business and Interpret • Have a clear understanding in Cost Variance, Productivity Analysis, Margin Impact Quarterly Tasks • Provide required inputs to Finance Business Partnering team for RoFo Job Description Side 2 of 2 Classification: Internal Primary Stakeholders • 2M / Gemini team in CPH • Network team in CPH • Business Finance team • VSA Partner Core Competencies • Result driven and with strong logical and analytical capacity • Have clear understanding of P&L • Experience in FP & A domain • BI will be added advantage • Solution mindset • Team spirit and excellent communication skills • Ability to engage, guide, influence and challenge multiple stakeholders across departments and levels of the organization • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills • Effective Team Player • Cross-cultural understanding • Candidate is expected to understand the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between different functions
