We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Backend Developer (Specialist) who can build robust, scalable systems and help us power our platforms with clean, efficient backend architecture. What You'll Do • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and databases • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements • Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices • Work closely with product and operations teams to deliver impactful features Compensation Structure This is a performance-driven or project-based role. Compensation will be aligned with the complexity and success of deliverables. Opportunities to take on more projects and scale responsibilities — no cap on growth potential. Requirements • Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java • Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), and server-side logic • Understanding of version control (Git), security, and performance optimization • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in backend development • Experience in edtech or startup environments is a plus Perks Certificate of Association + LOR
