Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and driven Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner (HRBP) for our growing teams while managing end-to-end payroll across corporate, retail, and third-party contractual employees. This role will also be responsible for ensuring all HR statutory and labor law compliances are diligently met in our fast-paced and high-growth environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in end to end Employee life cycle management . This candidate will work closely with management. Responsibilities: 1. HR Business Partnering Act as a strategic HR partner to key business functions—corporate and retail. Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, and grievance handling. Own employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, inductions, confirmations to exits. 2. Payroll Management Manage and process monthly payroll for: #Corporate employees #Retail employees #3rd party payroll employees Coordinate with third-party vendors for accurate and timely disbursement. Validate salary inputs: attendance, LOP, new joiners, exits, bonuses, incentives, and reimbursements. Handle payroll reconciliation and ensure zero discrepancies. 3. Compliance & Audits Ensure adherence to statutory and labor law compliance: PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, and Minimum Wages. Liaise with vendors and consultants to ensure documentation and filings are up to date. Conduct internal HR audits and documentation reviews. Maintain HR records in line with compliance requirements. 4. HR Operations & MIS Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, payroll MIS, and compliance trackers. Handle documentation for all employee categories including employment agreements and compliance declarations. Support HR automation initiatives and process enhancements. Qualifications: MBA in HR / PGDHRM with 4-6 years of relevant experience Strong hands-on experience with payroll Strong stakeholder management, communication and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks Proficient in Google Workspace/ Google sheets. Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
