The Sales Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and building relationships with clients. Additional duties include analyzing sales data, coordinating with the production team, and overseeing promotional activities to drive business growth.Qualifications Proven experience in Sales Strategy and Marketing Campaigns Strong Market Research, Data Analysis, and Client Relationship Management skills Experience with Promotional Activities and Business Development Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and lead a team Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal husbandry or related field Experience in the cattle feed industry or agricultural sector is a plus Minimum 7–10 yearsof experience insales and marketing , withat least 3–5 years in a managerial role Proven experience in agri-inputs, cattlefeed, poultry feed, veterinary products, or rural FMCG distribution Strong understanding ofdistributor/sub-distributor networks Experience managingmulti-tiered rural sales systems Capable of handlingterritory planning ,incentive programs , andchannel conflict resolution Proven ability tolead, mentor, and track performanceof a large, field-based sales team (30+ people) Experience insetting and reviewing KPIs , conducting training sessions, and building accountability Fluent inMarathi ,Hindi , and basicEnglishfor effective communication with local teams, distributors, and upper management Familiarity withrural marketing tactics , farmer engagement programs, andvillage-level brand awareness campaigns Able to organizemelas ,demo sessions ,educational programs for farmers , and driveseasonal sales campaigns Willing and able totravel extensivelyto remote rural areas across Maharashtra and nearby regions
