Job Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai & Mumbai Experience: 8+ years No. of positions: 5 Primary Skills : Oracle DBA, RAC, DataGuard, GoldenGate, PostgreSQL/ MySQLJob Title: Senior Database Administrator (Oracle, RAC, Dataguard, GoldenGate) Experience Required: 7–10 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactiveSenior Database Administrator (DBA)with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle database administration and a proven track record in supporting enterprise-grade systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managingOracle RACandData Guardsetups, performance tuning expertise, and experience withGoldenGate . Exposure toPostgreSQLorMySQLis a strong plus.Key Responsibilities: Own, track, and resolve database-related incidents and service requests within defined SLAs. Monitor and review daily reports (e.g., database backups, maintenance jobs, system health checks) to proactively identify and address issues. Respond promptly to alerts, escalation requests, and performance issues. Implement strategic solutions to prevent recurring database problems. Perform routine and ad-hocperformance tuningand optimization of Oracle databases. Manage and support OracleRACandData Guardconfigurations in production and DR environments. Maintain and operate OracleGoldenGatereplication setups (minimum 2 years experience). Provide support forPostgreSQLorMySQLdatabase systems (minimum 2–3 years experience). Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients on the status of requests and issues. Escalate unresolved problems proactively and manage incidents through to resolution. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.Required Skills & Experience: 7–10 yearsof overall experience inOracle DBAroles. Minimum5 yearsexperience withOracle RACandData Guard . 3–5 yearsof experience inOracle performance tuning and optimization . Minimum2 yearsexperience withOracle GoldenGate . Experience withPostgreSQLorMySQLdatabases (2–3 years preferred). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills. Good to Have: Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP). Experience with automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
