We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in the Solar Photovoltaic (PV) sector . The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of solar power plant construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution as per design specifications. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all electrical construction activities at solar PV project sites. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and civil teams to ensure smooth execution. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols. Review and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical documentation. Monitor subcontractors' work and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Coordinate inspections and testing of electrical systems (e.g., inverters, transformers, cabling). Resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance to site teams. Maintain accurate documentation including work progress, test reports, and daily logs. Ensure timely completion of electrical installations and handover to commissioning teams. Manage inventory and logistics of electrical components and materials on site. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical construction management, with at least 6 years in the Solar PV sector . Strong knowledge of solar electrical systems – inverters, DC/AC cabling, SCADA, transformers, etc. Familiarity with national and international electrical standards (e.g., IS, IEC, IEEE). Proven experience managing subcontractors and on-site teams. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools. Willingness to travel and stay at remote project sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management. PMP certification or equivalent project management training. Experience in utility-scale solar (MW-level) and substation interfacing.
