Join us in transforming lives and making a difference one student at a time Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Lecturer - IT Trainer (Basic Computer & MS Suite) located in Pune. The Junior Lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering educational content for IT Skills using our bilingual methodology, which combines sign language and English communication. Day-to-day tasks include lesson planning, teaching, assessing student progress, mentoring, and contributing to curriculum development. Collaboration with faculty members to ensure a holistic learning experience for students is also a key part of the role. Qualifications Experience in lesson planning, teaching, and student assessment Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills Strong Communication Skills Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members Adaptability to learn Indian Sign Language (ISL) Commitment to the educational and personal growth of deaf and hard of hearing students Masters degree in Information Technology or related field Prior experience in Deaf education will be considered an advantage Key Responsibilities & Duties: Develop and implement engaging IT content. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to promote active participation and critical thinking. Deliver effective IT lectures using diverse teaching methods. Utilize a variety of assessment tools and techniques to measure student understanding and progress, providing timely feedback to support growth and achievement. Develop a positive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey. Utilize technology to enhance learning experiences. Establish a positive and structured classroom environment for effective understanding and comprehension for students. Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance and other relevant data. Generate and analyse reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs
