I. Job Summary As a Manager in HR Tech Application Support, you’ll lead a team responsible for day-to-day support, enhancements, upgrades, and project delivery for Oracle Fusion HCM modules—especially Payroll (US & Canada). You will work closely with HR, IT, and vendors to manage configurations, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in system performance and HR service delivery. II. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage support, release planning, upgrades, and enhancements for Oracle HCM Payroll. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Oracle Fusion Payroll – including tax processing, benefits integration, year-end, and compliance (US & Canada). Manage change control: plan and coordinate patches, releases, and configuration updates. Troubleshoot production issues and resolve Tier 2 escalations through ticketing tools. Oversee intake process: design, build, test, and deploy system updates. Support and enhance integrations, data governance, and reporting via OTBI , BIP , Fast Formulas , and HCM Extracts . Collaborate cross-functionally with HR Process Owners, IT, and external vendors. Manage and coach a team: allocate tasks, mentor team members, and conduct capacity planning. Prepare and deliver timely updates, risk logs, and project status reports. III. Supervisory Duties Manage at least one direct report and provide leadership within the HR Tech team. Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and process improvement. IV. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree (or equivalent with 4 additional years of experience) Experience : 12+ years in HR Technology support , with leadership experience and vendor management Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM – Payroll and related modules V. Must-Have Skills Oracle Fusion HCM (Payroll, Compensation, Core HR, Talent) Reporting tools: OTBI , BIP , Fast Formulas , HCM Extracts SQL/PLSQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, RRDL Experience with change control , release management, and ticketing tools Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills VI. Work Environment Mostly office setting with occasional exposure to non-standard conditions May need to support during off-hours (natural disasters, outages, etc.) Must attend after-hours calls with offshore teams as required
